Fundraising Editions (For public stations)

Since many public radio stations engage in on-air fundraising the Bluegrass Review creates special fundraising editions of the show. Each fundraising edition contains four programming segments adding up to about 40 minutes of programming which contains light fundraising. Local stations make on-air fundraising pitches in between the programming elements.

In order get a fundraising edition to stations when they are needed, stations tell the Bluegrass Review the dates of their on-air fundraisers.

Phil Nusbaum, the Bluegrass Review host has conducted many on-air appeals for Bluegrass music. However, fundraising appeals can always be improved. For that reason, we are interested in dialogue with stations regarding effective fundraising strategies. Contact the show at pnusbaum@bitstream.net.
